First part comprises descriptions of several counts, mostly from an overhand end grip. Of most interest is the Beamsley (originally known as the Maeby count), an Elmsley from the end grip.

The routines in the 2nd part all use counts from the first part and are all impromptu. Several have appeared (in slightly differnent forms) in earlier Beam books or in his Trapdoor magazine.
