Quick tricks might be defined as those which use no layouts, counting or dealing. Such procedures have their place but perhaps are best shown off when interspersed with quick tricks. About a half-dozen tricks in this ms. are of the stand-up variety, a subdivision of card magic that could benefit from more attention: When working for a large audience, no tricks are more visible than stand-up tricks.
